I recall when we had revenant hunting clans (such as RuneScape Gold player55 I think) congregating in the temple and at times adventuring out into the wild to kill revs. This, fist of guthix, and clan wars made the rampant one of the most active areas in game, there was possibilities and variety. I would be up for worlds where cool shit drop to teaming up once 21, to incentivize us.
Fully agree; Give them an energy increase, make them drop Revenant uniques a bit more commonly to compensate, and kick PvP from the Wilderness (except state w18 and yet another world).pvp dedicated world isn't a bad idea, at least it would focus it. There nothing you can do outdoors of making Boss level NPCs that are end-game.
If I could bring my gear out there, I would actually participate in pvp in the jungle. But there is alot of wilderness only content, these revenants gotta be really fucking scary to make folks think twice about going into the wildy, or the wilderness material becomes pointless, and might as well just remove it because of it no longer becoming a risk/reward thing. I almost lost my firecape, defender ect to those spooky meanies:-LRB- stupidly purchased it with me to get a clue scroll and got attacked by a massive set of orcs/knights/vampires at the chaos elemental teleport. Luckily when I came back to loot my stuff they were gone.
Its Since the PvP Community is among the most absolutely toxic I have ever seen. If you lose, you. If you beat them, you are either a cheater or a food chugging carebear (regardless if they were ingesting too or not). And that if you actually manage to find Solo PvPers. The vast majority appear to run around in roving Gangs, dismissing each other but moving after the smaller teams or solo OSRS gold mobile players. When an Update comes along that tries to balance out things for individuals, or threatens their Edge. And we wonder why Jagex stopped actually attempting to make anything better.
